That "Ha" Remix had the whole hood on smash when it dropped...it actually made me want to know who them Cash Money boys were because I legit didn't know before that.

Same with Jigga that nikka...that shyt used to have us acting a straight fool circa senior year in HS

Gun N Roses was hard to me. You can put the first song from BP3 on there. I forgot the name and I’m not looking it up.

Forgot all about that song. I always hated that track. Had I remembered, it definitely would've been on my list.

I don't think I actively hated it, in 1999, in those days, it was just an event to get music from a rapper, and options were more limited. It was exciting just to see a new Jay-Z video. I remember watching Blue Streak in theaters, and this was on the promo and soundtrack, and I always kinda nodded along. Listening today though, it's a bad song, the beat is subpar at best, the lyrics are fine, but the concept is so flat and uninspired, the whole extended metaphor thing. It was commercial Jay at his worst.

For my list, I tried to stick to an objective formula, of only songs with poor or subpar production, bad concepts, and bad lyrics. Though Jay is far guiltier of lazy lyrics, than bad ones. Get Your Mind Right Mami actually has such a dope beat, I was considering not listing it, but the bars are SO tired and bland. Should make the list just for wasting such a nice beat.

I personally love "Anything", the 2000 version, not the Kingdom Come one.

"A Dream" was awful. That "I said" rhyme was annoying, and the fact that Biggie comes to visit Jay from the grave just to tell Jay how amazing he is, and Jay agrees and compares himself to Jesus. Jay is so great that Biggie comes from the grave merely to kiss his ass.
