That song had already run its course by the time the first season came along. It was an incredibly short sighted decision to pick it, and even worse to keep it.

I think his name is Waylan (the recovered addict in the wire who helps bubbles), is a decent character, but him singing the intro for season 5 always sounded terrible to me.
