Why would they have to give up both 1sts for dude when he just got dealt away for Fournier and a 2nd? And we both know the Bulls don't intend on drafting 2 players with those picks that will play for them this year anyway.
Because the nuggets had a trade exception for 9 mil.Bulls don't,in order to acquire affalo's 7.5 mil salary you would of had to send out matching salaries.Bulls would of had to give up taj and a pick or those un guaranteed contracts dunleavy jr and both picks magic would of had no incentive to do the deal when the Hornets,nuggets,clippers and other teams wanted affalo too.

I fail to see why they would have to trade Taj for him when they just dealt him away for Fournier and a 2nd. He's only making 7 mil per year, the Bulls could have offered them MDJ, Snell and 19 for him, who says no?
