oo but brian shaw is the better coach? hollins? wasnt hollins ass cheeks in his first year in memphis before he got zach?
you obviously need good players to be a good coach but rivers has proven he can play with not having his best players around....celtics before this year were 1 win away from the finals, this year they almost beat the knicks without their best player, and if he played this year they would have beat the knicks....
people are basically underrating rivers now because they think hes overrated because of all this attention which makes me fukking laugh...because the other options the clippers have at coach are fukking losers.

I do not blame Danny for not expecting that crap package.
It wasn't Danny ainge.. Donald sterling don't pay coaches and that's why clippers are the clippers.. the trade should have been Donald sterling and deandre Jordan for doc rivers..

At the end of the day I think Chris Paul wants Doc Rivers and he's going to get what he wants or he will bolt. I also think the Celtics front office wants to retool/tank/save money. I don't see how a deal doesn't get done.
