This deal would be horrible. Puts them in Milwaukee land. The worst place in Basketball. If Boston was in the WCF, they would be fine but in the East.

That's true, but if Danny is trying to sell tickets while rebuilding I think it's the best route to atleast appear competitive, they are the Celtics so their storied image can't really be them looking like the Bobcats on the court, Boston fans would have Danny out on his ass in less than a season, but I c/s your point about not wanting to be in the Bucks limbo position, large markets just are going to tolerate it.

You're probably right but theyd be better off hitting rock bottom then being stuck as 7-10 seed

Because he's not that good and the Clippers organization is frustrated with him, and in the original trade had them getting Garnett, Pierce and Doc Rivers (In some kinda sign off, cause I know you technically can't trade a coach) for him and someone else. That's the rumor said on First Take months ago.
