I like Isiah Thomas, and he'll do well in an uptempo style they like to run in PHX. He also can't play much defense due to his lack of size, but that fits right into what PHX has always done.

Its not being cheap. Its to avoid having over 30 million dollars tied up in the backcourt. The Suns are adding depth but they still want to have cap flexibility.

I disagree. One will be gone before the season starts. Then again with the NBA getting a new TV deal in two years the cap will rise so both may still be on the team. They do need to find a low post scoring option.
