at the end of the day as long as the buss family owns the lakers and their main income is the lakers this shyt will be the case.
Daddy Buss spend too much time at the Poker table instead of building an empire will do that.

people saying they lowballed him
i know Hurley done great in college
but how many people been on some ":whoa: lets wait and see what he can do stuff"
or some "that college stuff dont translate to nba" "or he'll be fired soon anyway"
is being the 6th highest paid coach not some kind if middle ground for the uncertainty he brings

6/70 for a rookie coach is a lot. If he didn't accept he prolly wouldn't move for 80 imo. That could be wrong for sure tho.

I'd just bring Borrego in. That JJ fukkery would be too much of a circus.

But if they want that go ahead :mjlit:

When Hurley said he'll think about the job over the weekend that meant that he was staying at UConn. Bron, Klutch, playing the scapegoat, the LA media, and drafting Bronny and having to play him was too much to deal with for a guy that's in full complete control of everything in Connecticut.

How the fukk is $70 mil a low ball offer for a first time coach :dahell:
If you think so highly of someone to lead a "primetime" team like the Lakers to great seasons with Bron and then build the team up after he leaves, you gotta offer him more than another college team or the Pistons.
