Lesson of the day. If you are a college and a team is considering hiring you to coach a marquee franchise take it. If you fail college will always be there.
Given similar environments and resources Hurley eventually coached a team to two national championships.

Some folks are just more comfortable and happy coaching college where they have way more control.
NBA is a players league
NCAA is for coaches
Comparable money and way more control

I dont even care about the coaching aspect, this guy is a diva and annoying, so I am glad hes not here
Is he a good coach? Sure. He won back to back National Championships, but he acts like he's John Wooden, Coach K, etc.
He is always bytching about something and pulling this tough guy act. I can't think of a current NFL or NBA coach that is more unlikable than Hurley. Nick Siriani can come across as cringe worthy at times, but he's not a prick like Hurley. Only one I'd say is maybe Doc Rivers.

NBA headcoaching is futile. Unless you have a top 5 player your just on the road all the time losing with no shot at winning a chip waiting to be fired

I wasn't talking bad about homie but Unc been good a family man taking care of his kids and his family mentor to his nephew I'm very proud of my uncle Rod...
I got his Kentucky jersey hanging up in my man cave that nikka is a legend to his family and Many in Jersey City
Honestly after the Luka trade I think he does. I understand why he declined it having to deal with Bron and the things that come with it, but if hindsight was 20/20 he would've took it.
