Most of these college coaches got to go on fundraising missions and talk to agents and gather up paper to pay players and all that new shyt

We're going to see a lot of college coaches jumping ship. You adding in all that extra shyt, and the kids are high paid a$$holes now, might as well do that shyt in the pros where you leave that shyt to the GM and just coach

The coaches jumping ship are old or had decades of doing it under the old ways. Hurley doesn't have that.

And yet he hasn't said no yet when he's pretty much a god on that Uconn campus. People have directly quoted him on talking about having to go to fundraisers and ask boosters for more money for NIL and shyt. Young or Old, most those coaches didn't sign up for that shyt unless they just got here last year

If Hurley comes on, that's what I'm picturing. Similar to how Brad Stevens and Beltics perhaps but build up thru draft and develop but I say that as if Lakers are hitting the reset button

Brad Stevens went to the front office because of COVID & George Floyd put an extra spotlight on the racism of Boston. Jaylen Brown was talking in the media and Danny Ainge(who is Morman) came out and said Boston wasn’t racist then got forced into “retirement” but later joined the Jazz (who are located in Morman land). Brad Stevens took the position of President with the Boston Celtics promising that the next head coach would be a Black man. Ime got the job lead them to the Finals then that bullshyt happened So then Joe got the job.

So basically him and UCONN will be finalizing the new deal over the night
it won’t be anywhere near what the Lakers offered

Sounds like he has to try and see if his wife is cool with living in Los Angeles

Which makes no sense at all who the fukk wouldn’t want to live in Los Angeles and be in 76 degree weather every day :mjlol:

Bro the way the media is hyping this dude is insane.

Coaching matters in the NBA but it's not that important.

From ESPN today:

Hurley has been at the forefront of the Lakers' search from the beginning of the process, even while the organization has done its due diligence interviewing several other candidates, sources said. Only New Orleans assistant James Borrego had two in-person interviews in Los Angeles, sources said.

Unless the sources are outright lying, this disproves 90% of the Coli narratives about the Laker coaching search. :russ:
