I think breh wants the challenge more than he wants the Lakers specifically. Dude is insatiable in terms of dropping his nuts on the basketball world, pause. He'd love to conquer the NBA
What I'm sure is nagging him is that even if he eventually wants the Knicks job like as been reported, there's not going to be many other backup options as alluring as the Lakers. I don't buy the angle that he's been at the top of the search since the beginning for one minute, doesn't add up at all with the way Hurley has been moving and I don't see why it would take this long since Ham's firing to offer him and bring him on site to LA. Seems like Woj is putting extra on it because the Hurley fam and Woj have a relationship.
I think he's leaving. If he's was staying he would've just declined the offer. It sounds like he's working with his PR people, how to break the news he's leaving.
I think what is happening is he/his agent is getting his deal ripped up and has been working on a new UConn extension. If he likes it($$$$$)I think he stays. If they can’t come to terms he takes the LA job
This but it probably is multiple reasons… the reaction to JJ by the media/fans, probably some reservations about him from within the organization, and more importantly he probably wants $$ and the Lakers aren’t gonna give him a bag so trying to pivot once they heard he’d be slightly interested

I feel like he's gonna stay at UCONN even though if the rumored numbers are correct are ridiculous and normally you have to take that offer but I don't like the wording Woj used in his last tweet
