Jeanie is only good at marketing not ownership/ scouting/drafting and the rest of the kids have no idea

U put your trust in pelinka who is a dude nobody really trust and he thinks he more than what he really is and that’s a agent not a executive..,

I would fire pelinka and revamped the whole squad..

But jeanie will continue to throw money at any big name because she thinks that’s what lakers fans want..

The reports were all “Lakers offering a substantial offer to lure him away!!! :damn:

Only to essentially not even get Monty Williams money and the same as Kentucky money he already turned down
at the end of the day as long as the buss family owns the lakers and their main income is the lakers this shyt will be the case.

they value the status of being the coach of the Lakers as some type of intangible that makes up for the money, in reality they just don't have the money to throw around like other team owners, so they fall back on that crutch.

the team will be better off whenever the family lets go of the team.

Breh basically said what I was going to. If bigger baller owners continue pouring into the Western Conference, like the GS owner ship, like Ballmer, like Ishbia, guys who will suffer in the second apron to put up a good team, Lakers are gonna fall further behind.

There's a point where roster impotence + front office impotence comes back to bite you in the ass. I know people want to use the pre-2010s, which are completely useless in evaluating the state of the league now, and say some distressed superstar is always gonna save LA, but they got two of them and only got one Finals run out of it. The margin of error ain't what it used to be and you can't just superstar your way into rings

Pelinka and Jeanie continue to be incompetent bums while Bron and Klutch get all the blame. Bron and AD should have never hitched their wagons to these inept cacs.
They deserve the shyt they got for pushing the Russ trade, deservedly. No excusing that

but this fukkin front office's most lauded offseason in the LeBron era (not counting AD that was purely a Klutch move) was one where they resigned AR15, Rui's bipolar ass, Taurean Prince, and Jaxson Hayes. AND was the latest victim of the Miami manipulation, giving a bag to Gabe Vincent. That's the best offseason Pelinka has had since taking over

I dont follow college ball as much as I used too but is this dude the next great coach or somethin? nikkas in comments sayin he got lowballed hard like he should be makin Spo or Pop money or some shyt...

he's the best coach in college in an industry where bill self makes 10 mill per. You can't expect a guy to give up where he is basically a gawd, and will prob get that big money contract in the next few days for 11 mill per. Esp when teh lakers have had 7 coaches in the past 13 years

It’s been stated a bunch that Bron and AD wanted Derozan and Dame first. Derozan was actually attainable and he thought it was a done deal until it wasnt

The lakers brass wanted Russ just as much as anyone. The prospect of a big 3 with merch, jerseys, ticket sales, etc. was a huge reason. Selling a 3rd star like Russ. Bron and AD deserve blame for Russ no doubt, but in the end the FO are the reason they made that trade

No his best offseason was the summer of 2019 where he acquired AD and signed pretty much the entire core of the title team - Dwight, Rondo, Avery, Caruso, Danny Green, resigned KCP. Signed DMC but he couldnt get healthy. Signed Markieff Morris during the season. The fact yall just gloss over that is crazy :mjlol:
