you been watching these heat games ? :mjcry:

:whoa:Look, I'm not here to defend Spo (and Lord knows he has plenty of faults as a coach), but that Heat roster is a dumpster fire.

On the other hand, Magic start five 1st rounders (including a 2nd, 4th, and 10th overall pick) and are bottom-seven in all 4 major per-game categories (Points, Rebounds, Assists, Points Allowed). Offensive issues you can at least handle considering these guys are raw -- same with defense, I suppose.

However, being the third-worst rebounding team in the league with a squad so full of length, youth, athleticism, and range is completely abominable and indicative of a horrendous misappropriation of their talent.

They have a solid core and you want those guys to learn how to win. That clearly wasn't going to happen under Vaughn.
It's not gonna work under anyone when you tell them it's OK to lose and then all of a sudden you got high ass expectations. Every tanking team needs to learn from this. Look at Sacramento. They fired Malone because he didn't do well enough yet everything leading up to that was "don't worry about wins and losses." Same thing here. It goes from "get the best pick possible" to "you better make that move or else." Brett Brown might be next if by next year they're not in a playoff hunt even though their whole mission is to say "fukk a win"

Orlando tanked before, but there's no way the expectation going into this season was to win 23 games again. In the east, they should be in the playoff hunt.

The roster has been filled out enough to begin a winning culture and they became a treadmill team under Vaughn. Something was clearly not working with him.

You can't compare the Malone situation to anything. That ownership group is delusional and they actually were winning to begin the year while Cousins was healthy. :dead:

Vucci > Big Al
Oladipo > Henderson
Payton = Brian Roberts
Harris > MKG
Fournier > Zeller (from a basketball standpoint)

Vucci > Henson
Oladipo > Middleton
Knight > Payton
Harris > Greek Freak (for the time being)
Fournier > Dudley

Harkless, O'Quinn and Frye are solid guys off the bench too. Orlando has a bunch of guys who can play.
