I wouldn't want him on my team, but Charlotte clearly wants to make the playoffs and giving this dude a 4 year deal might be the price they have to pay to get there.

I'm not sure if he's putting anyone over the hump, he can opt out, AND he's damaged goods. I doubt Houston gets anything for him.

yeah I'd hope that the Hornets could swap Al Jeff and a filler for Howard
