Is there more material? The guy's life it was based off of went to jail and has become like a public/motiviational speaker.
Could push the .com bubble bust era. Leo being a greedy prick would be dope again. Probably a fun role for him.

yeah for sure if Leo wants it. It's being made. Belfort wrote a second book so there is more material there but the story might not be as tight. I'll only see it in theaters if the trailers look fun. Otherwise that is a wait to hit streaming watch.

It would be detached from the original. There’s nothing in Jordan Belfort’s life after his incarceration that would be interesting.
Also I don’t think there’s anything else to explore as an actor with this story. Leo wanting to do this seems a bit lame to me. It would be fun for him. It would likely make a lot of money. I just think it would be a “been there, done that” situation.

I feel like the story was told pretty comprehensively in the first movie. Jordan Belfort despite being a sleazy POS not only got off fairly easily he got an even better hustle as a result of the press.
