Why are you speaking like the NBA hasn't had a history of players becoming head coaches with 0 coaching experience, dating all the way back to player-coaches (Bill, Cowens and Wilkens), all the way to Kidd who was hired as a head coach a week after he announced his retirement, Larry Bird who was hired as a head coach with no experience, you even had Magic who become a head coach with no experience and then ended up playing in the league again. When you have been coaching upward of 25 years all over the world you feel a way about a guy who gets the head coaching job of THE franchise in the NBA with 0 coaching experience.
But both those cats bytched the Lakers though...between Malone and Finch we really bring out the bytch in nikkas![]()
I am just explaining where Finch is coming from. Didn't say it was unprecedented or anything.
The list goes on.
JJ clearly has what it takes to be a successful coach in the league and that's all that should matter.
