I met woman 'A' while I was still getting over woman 'B'. I wasn't looking to meet anyone; wasn't really in the headspace for it. Woman 'B' was an absolute dime that I had spent quite a bit of time on, only for it to fall apart over some bullshyt. She was a beautiful person but had some past trauma that made dealing with her a real coin-toss. Long story short, she was a fukking headache.

So when I ran into woman 'A', we unexpectedly hit it off immediately. We spent the whole day together and ended up sleeping together on our first meeting. She then moved from NY to AZ to be with me long-term. During our courtship, woman 'B' reached back out to me and we had a bit of a fling before it fizzled out again. I would say that her tendency to be hard to deal with definitely strengthened my resolve to stick with woman 'A'.

It was definitely the right choice, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't still think about woman 'B' from time-to-time.

B. You're not supposed to see eye to eye with a partner on EVERYTHING. A good relationship should have some friction and disagreements. Obviously you don't want a woman who is just trying to make your life a miserable hell but I also wouldn't want some ass kissing woman who just agrees with everything I say. I want a woman who can stand on her own two and not be afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right. Being with a weak-willed woman would frankly be kinda boring and I'd have a little trouble fully respecting a woman like that.
