She thought she could find another man that would do everything the ex husband did for her + be financially much better off. And it don’t work like that. She may have gotten the man she wanted financially but they probably doesn’t love on her the same. It’s a trade off.

Men do the same thing but we need to be happier with the transaction. A lot of men come up with a beautiful woman, down, loves you. But with that comes some nagging maybe and there’s younger models available. Men will happier swoop in on a younger model that maybe loves you less and has more material conditions. And they are happy with that model - until the younger model wants to cash out (this May never happen mind you).

I wonder what she meant by ‘no resources’. Where they broke? Lower middle class? Functionally middle class?

If he was providing homeownership, a decent vehicle, decent disposable income and she just wanted luxury. That is v. cold blooded. And makes we want to see that ass and body.
