Yup. Happened to me years ago. I had to fight to get that ish off my record. I refused to pay.

They didn't even take my vitals - nothing. All they did was take my name and info. I waited for like 3 hrs and we bounced.

that's crazy, you might be living in a Ferguson situation. someone should really be cataloguing the various courts fees of all the jurisdictions in the U.S.

It was in new orleans so you might be right. Whole state government been corrupt since before I was born. I was young too. 22 so I was just glad I didn't get locked up. Looking back years later I realized that shyt was excessive

1.Let that shyt go to collection,, most Collection agencies send you a Reduced bill if paid in full,,
They took 50% off her bill

If dont have Insurance,, its not illegal for you not give up your ssn to the Hospital
