The streets are outraged but the last thing I want to see is a civilian go to prison for handling this guy. The inmates gut his carcass

The irony of the police doing an outstanding job protecting him is crazy
You do know the gov and police have an active campaign of letting these guys out to do this shyt in nyc since that george floyd shyt. Guarantee he was released by the courts or the prison system within the last 3 years to do this shyt so they can say "crime is up".

Yea that's my thing, once you show something like this you just unlocked another tactic for however many thousands of predators never thought of doing it like this :picard: I feel like if something is clearly some advanced jail-like shyt they need to keep it to themselves

prison is a school for criminals and predators because there's never been actual rehabilitation or prison reform.

I like to think of myself as progressive but crimes like this do something to me. In some instances where the crime his so heinous I think backyard execution is justified. Rapists like this and people who harm children don't deserve the air they breathe imo. We need severe deterrents for people like and I don't think the prospect of serving a life sentence is enough
Yes. The only area I'd consider myself "conservative" in (and I think it's really just sensible) is punishment for violent crime. We should have harsher penalties for it given the harm it does not only to the individuals directly involved, but society at large. Far too many people are arrested numerous times for assaults, get out and repeat the cycle, and even escalate. My not supporting the death penalty is not for moral reasons, it's due to all of the people who were exonerated with advancements in dna testing, etc. However, in cases were the evidence is 100% incontrovertible, for especially heinous crimes, I'm for it. Hell, I'd even support the perp having to die the same way they killed their victim(s). To quote Mr. Castle - "It's not vengeance, it's punishment"

You trust the American Justice system to decide what evidence qualifies as “100% incontrovertible” ?
