going through NYC is a gamble. People are reckless as fukk nowadays. Read a story about a dude randomly shooting someone in the head on the train just because. Either nypd is about to turn the hell up or money is leaving the city
money is leaving the city to go where? to states where guns are plentiful and violent crime is greater than NYC?:rudy:

Jersey and Connecticut like they did during the pandemic. They may continue to work in the city, but if push comes to shove, they will find a way.

Johnson had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend in Jamaica, Queens, about six months ago while six months pregnant with his child, her heartbroken mom, Lisa Desort, told The Post.

Following the altercation, Desort said, the ex-boyfriend continued “stalking” and harassing her daughter. They called police for help, but he was not arrested, she claimed.

"We called the precinct numerous times to tell the [domestic violence] unit that he was stalking and harrowing her. Even [though] they knew what apartment he lived in, they failed to apprehend and arrest him,” the mom continued.

“The city failed to protect my daughter.”

So basically the most common of common stories. An abuse victim goes to the authorities like everyone says she should and she gets no help, no protection, no nothing.

Rest In Peace to Aszia.

The mayor and police chief will be on TV talking about how the violence needs to stop yet NYPD did nothing to stop this girl from having to deal with this psycho. They gotta own up or don't speak about this woman's death.

The girl ended up in a DV shelter at one point, she couldn't even stay with her people because he knew where they lived and was stalking her. I get that there are cases where the victims don't go forward with charges so the police's hands are tied but this doesn't seem like one of those.

If I read the story correctly, she was gonna meet up with the father...it's out of anyone's hands after that
