54 year old cat lady finally gets her chance to get back at her more successful brother or sister through their child and home owners insurance
:scust:
I guess they wouldn't settle, thus the trial... :yeshrug:And I'm sure he has at least 300K in liability coverage. Maybe the insurance company was like Nah homeboy, you're just gonna have to sue.

ETA: The father paid $800,000 for that house in 2008. It's lost some value and is now appraised at a little under $700K.

She was hoping for a quick insurance company payout and they hit her with the pause. So now, she's hoping the jury will give her some $$$. The case is being heard in Bridgeport (one of the poorest cities in the USA), so HOPEFULLY they will put her in :trash:. I can't imagine a Bridgeport jury having sympathy for a woman suing her nephew who just lost his mother.

Sounds like an insurance claim with the boy's father in on it for a slice. They're from Westport, I'm assuming they have their finances and shyt together, probably a claim on their property inaurance.

Aunt loses lawsuit against her 8-year-old nephew

GEPORT - A Superior Court jury deliberated about 20 minutes Tuesday before ruling a New York woman is entitled to no money in her lawsuit against her 8-year-old nephew.

In a case that has suddenly burst onto the national news scene, a jury begins deliberating this afternoon whether told hold a Westport 12-year-old responsible for breaking his aunt’s wrist when he jumped into her arms during his birthday party four years ago.

Sean Tarala was a “loving, sensitive,” 8-year-old according to the testimony of his aunt, Jennifer Connell, when she said he leaped in her arms crying “Auntie Jen,” on March 18, 2011.

But now Connell, a 54-year-old human resources manager from New York City, is asking a Superior Court jury to order the boy to pay her $127,000 for breaking her left wrist in his exuberance.

Connell showed no emotion as the verdict was announced but later pleaded with judicial marshals to escort her to her car through a throng of media waiting outside the Main Street courthouse.

She ignored shouts for comments as the marshals led her away.

Daddy needs to counter for emotional distress for the same amount for little Sean's college fund. Love your Auntie so much she tried to destroy your life after your mama died. Demonic bytch.
