I think that point alone is huge. Society doesn't give a shyt about what women accomplish in their careers in terms of our collective value of them. When society sees adult women, there's an expectation of her being partnered with a man and a mother. Many women buy into this ideal, I'd imagine it's pretty damn difficult not to.

Oh, it's much worse than that. Modern society expects women to be an embodiment of every man's fantasy walking Japanese robotic sex doll with bigger than your head tiddies, slim waist and a huge 55 inch ass and permanently 23 years old. Even these feminists who claim to fight for women do nothing to stop the extreme objectification of women. If anything, women's liberation encourages average women to get bbl, lipo and other extremely risky procedures as if being a build a thot is empowering.

Think about it, Instagram, one of the biggest social media platforms is mostly dedicated to blatant thoterry.

Imagine if men were socially pressured into injecting synthol and getting limb lengthening surgery, penis enlargement and man weaves. But now, its completely normal to see everyday women n real life who've obviously had bbl, breast aug etc.

Women are judged by their looks first and foremost. When a dime does something of value to society, every man like "aw that's cute" but most attention comes from her body. A dime could cure cancer, but most of her followers on IG would be following her to drool over her ass.

Having your looks being your most valuable asset as judged by society is probably more damaging to attractive women because looks and beauty are fleeting. Which is why this girl talked about turning 30 like she was turning 55.

R.I.P. to this young lady.

But I keep telling y'all, there's something wrong with this society that has become so "liberated and tolerant":francis:

You got Black folks who lived through hundreds of years of slavery and Jim Crow and mass incarceration and weren't doing this like this generation is doing now and falling to suicide and drug overdoses.

Goes to show you that when you do away with real communities and promote cultural chaos, people feel lost.

Young people have no idea about where they belong in this society anymore, so they hit 30 and realize that they have no idea about where they're going or what they're doing even though they may have money or fame.or instagram followers it falls apart.

Folks may scoff, but there's a reason this shyt is accelerating.

The only thing that is going to solve this is for Black folks to get back to being community/family oriented and stop telling these kids that being a doctor, lawyer, basketball player, rapper, actor, etc. . .is more important than building strong Black families. :yeshrug:

There are a bunch of slow fukks on this site :snoop:. Unfortunately this stupidity isn't limited to the site which is why it is very difficult to tackle problems.

The suicide rate is increasing. Lamenting about the pressure employers put on employees, after a young lady who worked in a profession where the pressure is notorious committed suicide, is on point even if you are too stupid to see the connection.

People will label ANY suicide "mental heath" or "chemical imbalance", basically bad luck.

It's a good way to avoid talking about the degrading social, economic, cultural environment.

I won't even get into the cultural and spiritual aspect of thing.
