Clubs killed themselves.Club and bar culture has always had unspoken rules. Women get priority at the bar, they claim the elevated platforms for dancing, and men typically hang back, letting the women shine and maybe going up to them for a dance, a chat, or to offer a drink.
But according to a growing chorus of frustrated clubgoers on TikTok, those dynamics have completely flipped, and many say it's not for the better.
Women call out men for dominating club spaces
A trend is emerging on social media showing men taking over the very spaces that were traditionally reserved for women to dance and be seen.
In a viral video, Jusnene (@jusnene2) delivered a passionate rant about the shift she's witnessed in club culture.
"When the [expletive] have you ever seen men wanna be on the stage shaking they [expletive], looking out to the crows. I ain't never seen that," Jusnene said. "It was always the girls on stage, the girls in the center, the girls at the top. Men were just waiting to see who's gonna get messed up enough to want to dance with them. Not rushing the [expletive] stage."
"This is why club culture is dead because men have become the women," Jusnene said.
Jusnene goes further, connecting this club behavior to broader relationship dynamics.
"I thought it was just in the relationships of them wanting to be pampered and wanting to be the prize. It's even in the clubs when y'all ain't got nobody. I'll be damned if I look up at my man that's on the goddamn stage," she went on.
The issue extends beyond just taking up platform space. Jusnene reminisces about how club culture used to work, when women got in free before 11 p.m., ladies drank free, and drinks were cheap and strong.

Other women have been posting their own experiences with this trend.

Then certain clubs get funky with the dress code for men.....so you can have a white boy and a breh wearing the EXACT same outfit, but the white boy gets in and the breh doesn't unless he's a known baller/famous etc,
Then the ladies go in packs and dance with each other. The top 5% or 10% of men (height/looks)....it's like shooting fish in a barrel. They will walk out with a woman with any effort. The average guys gotta pay $$ for the cover charge and already know they're getting ZERO play. The girls on your level are just there to hopefully get chose by a man wayyyy outta their league, even if it's just a short-term fukk fest.
If you have a naturally deeper voice, it's tough because your bass/timbre can't cut through all the noise. So flirting with women is impossible. Only works if you're attractive enough that she doesn't care what you're saying.
So....the normal nikkas don't wanna club. What's left are zesty nikkas and nikkas that like starting shyt. Maybe brehs they just wanna hang with friends, but men can hang out at a lot of other places besides clubs.

The reason clubs cater to women, is because attractive women make the place look better. Even if you aren’t pulling like that, do you actually want to go to a club, and chill with a bunch of men? Without the women, men aren’t going in, and spending money even on ourselves.
Pool parties and day clubs are still pretty fun. Everybody half naked, women throwing ass in bikinis, pool to cool off in..

What guys need to do
Is avoid the clubs for 2 months and let all the women show up by themselves and see how quickly they run on social media saying “ where are all the men at”

Confused af.. can’t even make up their minds.
It’s either you want men in the clubs or you don’t. And now, there’s some extra rules that nikkas are supposed to abide by when they get in the club.
nikkas just getting tired of the goofy shyt and not bothering to go. At least, not the ones they want I guess. Most cats from what I can tell, are going to sports bars and pool halls that just happen to have a dancing area, but more for social shyt to hang out with friends and get out the house.
But club clubs been dead. I haven’t been to one in almost 2 years and don’t plan to. Only overseas would I go out to a club now

- Upcharging everything killed it. $20 to get in, $20+ a drink.
