The Gender paradox by William Labov shows how women will just sway in whatever opinion her group thinks. If it's cool to be 'corrupt' then women will follow suit. Whatever is considered the norm of society by the group women follow. Men are more principled and tend to stand on their own opinions. Men make up their own minds, women let everyone else do the thinking and just feed off emotional situations.
