Ain't nobody tryin to get indicted.
Women are finally being allowed to express themselves as they choose.
Look, women have always been second class citizens in western society. The classic definition of femininity is tied to a man and his legacy.
What about her legacy?
It's unacceptable to not want women to feel like their contribution to western society is being recognized and rewarded. They deserve more representation in everything from government to entertainment.
An assertive woman isn't something I find unnerving. I respect that shyt. As a black man I know the score. I'm trying to navigate a maze created by and for white Christian men. They can change the rules or the field of play at will.
I don't think I have any privileges. I have obstacles.
When I see a woman doing her thing I think it's pretty cool because she's navigating her obstacles just like me.
The symbol of a second class citizen punching above their weight class should be inspirational to all minorities in western society.
No minority has to settle for how we're treated. We can change the scenery. I'm not sure how, but I know we live in a representative democracy and there is strength in numbers. I know we have rights and a handful of ways to educate ourselves on how to exercise those rights.
