I always thought this I had a discussion about this earlier. Nope not a single damn one. Especially the comedians, my lawd... All they can talk about is sex stories...and they aren't even funny.

This reminds me of a similar topic when women say they want a sense of humor out of a man. Which is not really true. They laugh at the nikka who they like's jokes regardless if they are funny or not. Not to mention comedians would be scooping females up left and right then. It just seems like they confuse themselves laughing at nikkas jokes when they already find them attractive. And then saying that's a quality they like in him...

But I'm off topic so forget I said anything moral of the story women ain't funny.

I've never heard any breh say anything like that. We're usually the ones expected to do the entertaining. These chicks' lives would be dull as hell without men.

I coulda sworn I replied to this, but I guess you don't find women like Tiffany Hadish, Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey, Gina Yashire, Sonia Denis, Damarria Bunson... It sucks that women don't get love for being legit funny. It really pisses me off.

Humor is subjective. They probably just find entirely different things funny because their experience on Earth is rather different than ours.

A good comedian in my opinon catches constant L's, has good comedic timing, quick wit and thinks outside the box.

Wit is something that is understated in this thread. A good comedian can relate unrelated ideas together, play with words, things like that.

Most brothas try to be the life of the party and use physical humor, but lack real wit. There is a reason most of the best comedians are introverts and keep to themselves a lot..

Women are generally not funny, this so prevalent it's almost ok to be accepted as fact.

I think Patrice the GAWD broke it down best, but women never had to create personalities through developmental stages in life. Their looks and beauty was enough to get them things and be catered to in life. Most men had to develop their niche , create personalities, learn how to utilize skills and experience a wider array of things that helps develop a context for humor. That's why if you do see a funny chick she is usually weird , fat, ugly, or disabled. Those tend to be the characteristics that allowed certain women to foster or rely on having personalities, humor and other skills to develop. I refer to this more int he context of making jokes, writing humor, understanding what is funny. Some women are only funny because material was written for them or catered to them so it's not actually genuine.

Half the time also women comediennes fall into the trap the minority comic get into which is sticking to one schtick. Women will cater their jokes and material to sexual stuff half the time that his low appeal and shows you the breadth of all they source material...kinda like how a Asian comic might do the typical parents/family with an accent bit...or black comics with the "white people be like this" bit.
