Not to call you a narcissist but those types and other people who may have emotional regulation issues can't really sort out their own emotions...so they kinda use others as a way to release/experience. Sometimes that means just observing or even inflicting emotional pain to get the response.

Now as a man, you've likely been conditioned to associate crying/being emotional as being feminine or weak. If that's the case, you might not ever get to engage the part of your self that needs to cry, to feel fully and express until you see a woman cry...because they're allowed right?

How that can translate to being a turn on is a whole nother conversation. Question is, when is the last time you cried for yourself?

Not saying you are, but narcissists STAY hurt emotionally...that's the point. They just never express hurt feelings (crying) , they externalize and learn to recognize (and manipulate) other people's emotions since they don't really know how to express their own.
