It’s not really about subtleties as you put it
American society(can’t speak for oversees fam) emotional intelligence is that of a 3 year old toddler
People have just regurgitated cliche sayings from past generations to avoid actual problem solving and internal resolution of past trauma
The only cliche phrase that needs to be understood

Generally speaking for some reason women don’t want to do any self reflection work and will always skirt/omit truths

Men will tell a woman

“I’ve done some terrible things, you should reconsider us being together” some variant of this comment
Women will ignore this and keep it moving in hopes of “fixing” you when they are just as broken
After the deal has been done
Now they turn victim and every story about you

Seeing a woman in real time
it’s really a sight to behold
