Females male friends that aren't gay or family are always either main nikka alternates, or a guy who is so deep in the friend zone that he just gave up and accepted the role.

I really think this is a general misconception by women, like they don't really understand. No guy, sees a woman and says "OMG...she'd be a fantastic friend" Any guy, no matter how much he plays it off, has a deep rooted idea that if he hangs around long enough, he'll get his turn at you.
