This cycle just keep repeating itself in the black community. Black woman gets pregnant, black man leaves, black woman becomes low income single mother. I got 2 cousins with 7 kids between them and not a father in sight.

I genuinely don't get it. How and why do we have this much constant disfunction?:dwillhuh:
There's too much distrust and animosity between the genders ultimately to the point that they might as well be separate races, at least in our generation.

Mothers cannot be the head of household.

Single motherhood should be shamed but it's accepted and expected in our community only. Women cannot be the head of household unless you want the next generation to think single motherhood is okay. Those kids will be raised thinking it's okay for a women to be leading the home. The men they lay up with think it's acceptable because they like the freedom to leave and get with more women. They don't want to lead a family and choose women who buck at instructions from males.

It's a vicious cycle with no end in sight. These kids might become LGBT seeing that stud as the "father figure". They won't respect their fathers who live outside of the home.

Black men gotta basically stop giving dikk to Black women who make it known that they see no issues in being a single parent. If you are talking to a woman and she has an issue with authority from you, keep it moving because she does not respect you. Like you tell her to do something and she has an attitude, run for the hills.
:russ: black men should stop giving dikk and abandoning the children that come from it. Once you have raw sex, you’ve signed a potential contract to parent. You can’t opt out cause you forgot to ask how she felt about single parenting.

Y’all need to start thinking BEFORE , that way you don’t have to keep blaming women

Partnering is better for long term sustenance. I do feel women make better partners for the long term. Some Men now aren’t as ambitious, they settle for jobs/situations or just generally fearful to take on more responsibility. So you end up tirelessly trying to be a cheerleader.

With women, just from a friends perspective it’s so much easier to collaborate. They don’t have preconceived notions of submission or leadership, just divide and conquer the work and get it done.

I’d only consider buying a house or sharing finances with a woman, and I would just get a FWB when I wanted to deal with men.
I agree. Women make better business partners.

Fair enough.

Men are less motivated when they know there is a big chance the woman will wake up one day and decide she's bored and wants a divorce. The courts will likely favour her and he will be the one who has to move out.

It's just easier as a man to get a job where your not stressed and only have to worry about yourself. Taking on a family with modern women isn't worth it anymore. So we both have our gripes. It's sad it has to be this way.

We know where the majority of the distinction is coming from. :sas2:

Ask your cousins why they were having unprotected sex without being married.

Why would them nikkas stick around

The modern women don't want to do traditional things like letting her family vet her husband , get clapped up by any smooth nikka with a mouthpiece

Y'all wanna know the crazy part is though? Asian 'Americans' who are also modern women, have some of the lowest Single parent homes.

So you can't say it's modern women in general. Something is amiss, why are the tables so unbalanced?

I understand, but that’s also part of the reason why men don’t make good sustaining partners me. Too much of their existence is wrapped into women and how women view them and once women are out of play, they are left devastated.

I like men who have goals for their own personal development, not that “I’m doing this for us” cause when there is no “us”, there goes the goals. shyt makes sad.
Fair point.

A lot of men have the ambition and the goals and for that reason it'll hurt more if they have to lose out on what they've worked hard for.

Some dudes like i mentioned will have an easier life with no women... but others will strive harder 'because' there is no woman and they know they will bear all the fruits of their labour.

It's sad because we should be working together but there is no trust in each other. More a sign of the times and a product of a more selfish generation. Hope shyt works out well for you anyway :obama:

Damn shyt aint a good outlook and I want no parts of it.

If this is the case, I might as well find me an Asian or White woman. Their single parent homes are only 16% and 25% respectively.

Because a lot of Black women want to be single mothers. For some reason y’all refuse to believe it.

I can tell you are a woman based on you going straight to "blaming women" when my post was really blaming men. You emotionally reacted instead of mentally responding like many people do. None of what you said applies to my post. Where did I say you can opt out after having a child with someone? Where did I say to leave your child if you didn't ask a woman her views on single motherhood? Unless you are married, it's 2 people who are single who are having a child together anyways. Y'all aren't a family in the first place, yall got 2 last names. It was fukked up to begin with.

You already gave your opinion on liking the arrangement you see in the thread so I don't know why you act like you want the traditional household back in the Black community. You find this new stuff acceptable and would never let a man lead you. A man who can lead wouldn't pick you in the first place.
