I'm -6.75
and I know I can't function without glasses or contacts. Can't drive, can't even leave the house 
Been wearing the plastic in my eyes since 3rd grade. Maybe lasik should be considered 
I'm blind as a bat without glasses or contacts I know the feeling. But lasik though, I'll wait like 10 years to see how people who had it this decade are progressing or regressing.
