There's always been that longstanding rumor about more than one piercing meaning you're a homosexual. Or in only the left ear meaning you're a homosexual. Or the only the right ear.

Basically, people are still 12. Some people can pull off 2 ears. Some can only rock one. Best idea is to try out both ears and then if it doesn't look right to you, you have a ring to swap out when you need to clean the other.
