Really, I feel that no one should marry anyone without a prenup. I just feel like, a prenup allows you both to get your point across and have stipulations in place. Spare me the talk about love and all that bullshyt. Marriage is a legal union, legal ramifications must be in place. I took a sociology class, and they were talking about marriage contracts. Meaning, it’s not a prenup, but it’s just a contract that stipulate certain things. It usually comes after you’ve been married for a certain amount of time. Sort of like, going back to the table.

To keep it all the way real. I know things happen and most marriages don't last BUT if you think you need a prenup...
If you even entertain the idea that it will be necessary, you SHOULD NOT GET MARRIED!
If there's a high possibility that you will wind up divorced like the majority of the people out here you should not get married. Period.
That does not mean that later on you may be mature enough to enter a union that doesn't end in a messy divorce with lawyers involved, it just means that prenup means that in the back of your mind you know the relationship will likely not last and that you need protection in place to keep the other person from trying to take everything that you established. I would not go into business or marriage with someone that I suspect would try to stab me in the back and legally take everything that I worked for.

My sister is single and has always been good with finances, bought her first house at 20, paid off her second house. Had a third house built, all before the age of 40. She was on Dave Ramsey show a decade ago, I wouldn't be shocked if she's closing in on millionaire status. So yeah, there are some sisters out here with fairly high net worth living low key.
