Domestic violence does not only happen to women. And if what you're saying is true, then should the whole movie be pulled from the theaters? This is a very dumb reach.
An isolated scene from a movie, without context, can have the opposite effect of what advertisers may have intended it to have. Women go to see these movies too, so it's important to take that into consideration when you market a product. That's all I'm saying.

Villa Straylight.
ppl are gonna :mjlol: like they didn't intentionally juxtapose her frail female frame with his large bulky fantasy male frame to create tension
whether or not they have a right to be offended is one thing but to pretend that you don't see what they do is dishonest :yeshrug:
You mean for the movie or to intentionally cause controversy?

I understand but what you're saying is completely wrong. The poster is not offensive since a villain is choking a hero, people who have something against this don't watch comic book films or are trying to find something to be offended about.
If Apocalypse was getting choked by mystique then would that be offensive?

It's just paying homage to those hero downfall comic books.

It's a big deal because it's a female, ok. Movie Mystique is a superhero that's done a lot more damage to males than whatever happened in that picture.

Stop being obtuse you p*ssywhipped femenazi.

FOH with all that "without context" talk. It's the fukking X-MEN. Adult Humans in America should know what the movie is about off rip.

I swear to god you gotta be the most annoying poster on this website.

Context?? It's a cot damn comic book movie! You don't need context when you advertise fantasy. If someone needs to be told an x-men movie will have aliens of different sexes fighting then they shouldn't be watching movies
