The day I returned to work after my wedding, a male colleague asked me, 'So, now that the wedding is done, are you going to start trying for a baby?' Firstly, isn't that just a strange way of asking if we're having lots of sex? Secondly, this guy had no idea of my health, finances, or even opinion on wanting kids. Thirdly, not one person in my husband's workplace has everasked him if we'll be having kids.

Terrible inexcusable shyt. Some folks are just straight idiots. Some of those comments made me wanna kick someones ass. One thing I’ll bring up tho…one of the comments was about being called aggressive at work. Don’t kill me for this, but I’ve worked with one woman who did not know the difference between assertive vs being an a$$hole. There are things that men can’t say to each other because we are gonna throw hands, but a few women come with that energy in the workplace and say they are just being assertive. And aggressive may or may not be the right word to use but no one likes being talked down to or disrespected.

10."I've often been told I'm assertive or harsh with my delivery, especially when things go wrong. In my opinion, people not doing their job correctly is incompetence and should be justification for making me annoyed — but, hey, what do I know? The worst, though, was from a peer who, in an annual feedback form, called me aggressive. Aggressive to me is violent or threatening. It is not being assertive and refusing to excuse people not doing what they're paid to do, especially when it directly impacts my work. Call me direct if you must, but would you call a man aggressive for not making small talk or thinking that the same people always messing up is okay?"

So umm it's misogyny because she says so she even made the comparison no one else did.

Having women work with men, right, is like having a grizzly bear work with salmon. Dipped in honey. Like, so– now, you dip the salmon in the honey, right? Grizzly bears– and the salmon get to walk through, comfortable, with honey and fish, and, “good morning, grizzly bears.” [Grunts] And the grizzly bears is like, “hey.” It ain’t even– he can’t even growl. Like, “raawwwrr, what’s up, fish?” [Growls] “Oh, my god, human resources. The grizzly bear just did grizzly bear stuff.” So– so– like, I can’t even go, “hey, good morning. “Good morning, fish. Good morning. Ohhh.” I can’t touch you. Like, “ohhh, look at that. “Ooh, I’ma just get a little bit of that fish “for a little bit. “Lemme get that honey. “Oh, my god, mmmm. “Fish and honey, man. “That’s my favorite. “Usually I kill fish and eat ’em and stuff, “but I just wanted to just rub that– “rub a little bit of that. “Mm. God damn.”
