of course they are, don't take it literally. But fukk the nikka who are like -6's who think they should get above average women without making up for their decencies. If you ain't going to try be the best person you can be, stay in your lane. Also anecdotes don't cover the entire spectrum either cause if we go by that love and relationships are a unworthy gamble. If we go by these ancedotes , and that's the case then what good is being in a relationship or loving anyone except your fam?

People don't act out of fear and fearmongering. Fear my come from a harsh romantic experience or previous rejection. Or it may come from a lack of self-esteem. But some fear comes from listening to others instead of being willing to try for yourself.

And no ancedotes don't cover everything, but patterns can't account for everything either. Everyone has to find what works for them. That comes from experience. Getting comfortable talking to others, interacting with others, and becoming comfortable with urself.

Based on what Ive seen average looking women are more valued to men than average looking men are valued to women.

Nah. Even the studies we love to quote around these parts say otherwise. Most indicate that men place a much higher value on the looks of a woman than women do in men because women take into account other factors in valuing men (finances, personality/sense of humor, same ethnicity), whereas men care primarily about looks.

But of course those studies only present a tiny fraction of the story. Ironically it can be said that a lot of men do the EXACT shyt they're complaining about women doing: in their youth they chase horrid women and only start thinking about average "nice" "wifey" chicks when they are ready to settle down, in many cases after they have wasted countless emotional and financial resources on "bad" women because we all know how good "crazy p*ssy" is and the like.

What's funny to me is how no one sees these parallels between men and women. Ya'll really think the majority of men are innocent nice snowflakes who are merely waiting on a chance to do right by an average female if only she would stop crawling through glass for monsters. It really is Bizzaro Land outchea. Lol!

Meanwhile, the reality is that a lot of men and women pursue or make themselves available to mates they deem the most attractive regardless of character until they deem they can't get away with that risky behavior any longer or until they become so burned by this that they no longer have any positive associations with the opposite sex period.
That's why u see so many average people getting caught up with a$$holes. Some escape unscathed but others end up bitter and scorned.

Most reasonable people avoid this by valuing more than merely looks in a mate or by taking responsibility for their poor decisions and moving forward.

Men talk about looks but most men's actions show otherwise. Most average men actions show that they value average women especially when you see their phones and who they try to get at on the daily. One factor that makes sure average men dont get too superficial is mainly because the availability of a partner as a man is not as high as an average woman so men always get a reality check when we aim above our means.

There is a reason men are called thirsty, women inboxes online are usually full on dating sites with people interested in them compared to most men, a lot of women phones can be easily filled with dudes trying to get at them while not the same for men, women who usually are the ones doing the dates for food trick, and so on and so on because generally men do the approaching courting and asking and not women and with that comes some advantages for women in the dating scene.

I don't think sex is bad, but I don't believe that's the entirety of my value. I also don't expect guys to take me to dinners and buy new stuff if we aren't in a relationship. I was just saying that I would like to see a guy to engage in various small scale random acts of kindness without them being connected to certain sexual strings at that moment or in the future

Men wanting to copulate with women isn't a bad thing in and of itself. But when u think you've established a good platonic reciprocal relationship with someone, it's wrong to switch it up and try to use the nice things u were doing ( perceivably as a good friend ) as fodder for a sexual relationship
