sooooo..... you aren't going down to pick up???

really offensive?? stop with the outrage. nothing wrong with humor. it doesn't mean I don't support equality. Ppl need to stop being so overly sensitive. it's things like that that are causing this extreme right thinking.
I'm in a relationship and not desperate and insensitive to women's causes.

People need to stop being overly disrespectful towards women. This is march for women's rights showing the new administration and the world that you cannot grab women by the p*ssy and treat them as expendable commodities or dismiss them. The attitudes expressed in this thread are examples. You don't realize it because it's so ingrained in society that its normal.

I'm really not looking forward to "vote or die" part 3, especially with a bougie establishment black woman leading the charge. Such bullshyt. :smh:

I'm 100% convinced Obama is going to be grooming Kamala behind the scenes

Warren and Brown need to be the top guns in 4 years

Also the 2018 election is going to tell us if the Dems have life or they're dead. Early signs is that the establishment is fully entrenched and gonna double down

OP I created a link two weeks ago in the Salon if you care to merge. I'm supporting it and its awesome to see so many ladies come together. My alumni girl friends came to DC last night and my colleagues in Frankfurt are marching in the German capital. I may post footage but cellphone is shyt.

Women's March on Washington (and in your city) January 21, 2017

It's not. There are Women's Marches going on in every major city across the globe today, including Europe and Africa, not just DC It's women showing solidarity and showing support for each other regarding human rights and social awareness. About 20K are participating in San Diego and 75K in Los Angeles respectively based on Facebook replies alone, doesn't account for other social media or those without it. Has absolutely nothing to do with Trump.

This has been planned months in advance and publicized amongst professional and grassroots circles, I found about about it at masjid (mosque).

Super dope because I read was torrential rain and flooding in San Diego yesterday and now the weather is perfect, as usual, again.

That is really offensive and partly the reason brehettes are marching. This is not Amber Rose's Slutwalk. So I wouldn't advise going the local walks trying to pick up women.

Also the condescension on "feminism" is appalling. Human beings deserved to be treated with dignity and respect. Feminism is not just negative male bashing, but women bringing awareness and fighting for justice for themselves and those without a voice.
I've seen multiple post denigrate marchers who don't support abortion. This March definitely has a political element to it. This protest is largely reactive( Trump presidency). Are there valid points being made? Sure. But let's not try to erase the large political element of this.

I'm happily married and I have been for years. I also have a daughter. I am all for equality and fighting for women's EQUALITY. that doesn't mean that we should be suppressing(OBVIOUS) humor.

and really, where is there this epidemic of people "being overly disrespectful" in Western Society?

and furthermore, the "grab em by the p*ssy" remark, while being disrespectful in general he wasn't talking about anyone individually or that he actually did it. it was in reference to how women feign for celebrities and you could pretty much "grab them by the p*ssy" if you wanted.

that has been taken so far out of context, but again, whatever ppl are told they believe.

The Civil Rights march was a political movement in America, doesn't mean it didn't spearhead other movements and others did not support Black Americans across the globe during the 50s/60s. Mainly the reason why Africans gain independence worldwide during that time. I will not let this forum pick on feminist and dismiss women exercising their right of demonstration and showing solidarity GLOBALLY, as most tied together by oppression.

Keep on with your intellectual convos about politics, technology or what not but don't start to shyt on feminists and be dismissive. I have a problem with that.

I have no problem accepting the validity of a few feminist standpoints. I'm not an anti feminist at all. What I don't like is deception. Denying a political agenda to this March is disingenuous. Also in my opinion the political element of the civil rights movement is one of my least favorite things regarding that movement. It basically led to blacks being loyal to the Democratic party to a fault. But that's another issue. Not going in to that.

You know exactly what Trump was getting at when he said that.

The whole thing is fake outrage.
He basically said women like fame, money, and power.
Shocking right?

agents already derailing the thread

:smh:
I think if government agents were really trying to infiltrate political movements they'd target key figure/ organizers. Not nikkas posting in an anonymous internet message board. Just a thought. But then again I'm an agent. Don't listen to me. Keep that Reynolds wrap on tight my g.

Do they? You've spoken to all women as they are a monolithic group? That's pretty ignorant to say being that most men, including all if not most of the brehs that post here have neither and are in relationships...but wait

Many women are attractive, genuine good hearted, hard working men who will work with them and not against them. You really going to trust the relationship advice of a dude who has buys women, hang out with billionaire pedophiles, to get attention with 3 baby mamas, which one was an reported escort and the other while cheating on his first wife? :camby:

This is a time to support our brehettes. It is by nature political, but it is also about supporting many movements and philosophies. I'm glad all these people are marching around the country and world - they're showing people that you don't go around insulting women so easily. It's also showing their growing power and influence.

My own mother and mother-in-law are marching in DC. I'm impressed by their passion to be seen and heard.

On a biological level women are attracted to rich men. It's another sign that they'll be able to raise healthy offspring. Not saying that's the only thing but it is a big factor.
Trump is an unscrupulous motherfukker but in that particular instance he was right.
