While HGH or human growth hormone is a banned substance for the WWE, many wrestling organizations do not test for the substance since it is harder to detect with standard urine tests. HGH has become a topic of discussion due to the recent drug test failure of UFC fighter Cung Le, who tested positive for excessive amounts of HGH after his fight with Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night 48 in August.

According to sources, WWE does not test for HGH even though it is on the banned substance list. The setback with the tests is that testing for HGH is expensive, and previous drug tests for HGH were unreliable. Unless the user is caught quickly after injecting the substance, it is harder to detect.

In the Ultimate Warrior documentary on the WWE Network, Vince McMahon mentioned that Warrior and British Bulldog were experimenting with HGH before both were let go from the company in 1992.

Don't know if it's a controversial opinion or not, but personally, I don't really mind HGH for pro wrestlers. :manny:

They're entertainers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185103/), and if people are going to be quick to deny that pro wrestling is a "real" sport (See: TSC being listed under the Film Room), then how hypocritical would it be to call for HGH testing for Ryback when Hugh Jackman is flying under the radar? You can't have it both ways.

Not to mention the obvious: these guys are traveling and performing 300+ days out of the year. No off-season. Let them expedite their recovery with doctors, so long as they're not going the illegal route and/or abusing it. :ld:

Because Vince wanting to be accepted by the main stream so bad is afraid of the backlash wrestlers get if they die young

1. Steroids nor HGH make anyones cock little. The reason bodybuilders look like they have lil dinks is because their mass SURROUNDING their package is so thick is appears to be smaller like someone who is Obese.
