Really how so ? Seeing as Jesus as well as his apostles were Jews im curious how the whole story from
the "christian" perspective was rife with anti semetism ? Now there are extremists who do this(take a blame the Jew approach) and Mel Gibson (but his father in particular ) is an example of this but when I watched the movie I never felt that was the angle he took nor do I remember anything from the actual dialogue that would be interpreted that way .
If Im wrong I got zero issues with being corrected because as I said I did only watch the movie once and that was when it first came out so maybe I missed or forgot something .

I never saw the movie. But from what I recall, the death of Jesus was blamed on the Jews right? Isn't that why they didn't want this movie to be shown because it's a bad reflection on them?
