help me develop a list of snacks I should buy and keep stashed at my desk at work. work is when I'm weakest with my nutrition. I get hungry and the vending machine calls me :noah: i do fine at home

snacks need to be able to be stored w/o refrigeration

i was thinking something along the lines of

almonds
green tea packets
peanut butter?

???

help me out :damn:

-Ready to drink protein shakes (I like Myoplex)
-Turkey jerky
-100 calorie quaker rice crisps (lots of flavors)

If your office has a microwave:
-Instant oatmeal cups or packets
-Bars (not candy, but protein, grains, etc...just watch the sugar)
-Low calorie popcorn for when you crave chips. Please dont burn the popcorn, your coworkers will hate you.
-Canned tuna or chicken breast, some come pre-packaged with light mayo on the side.

Canned tuna (flavoured types, the thai chilli ones are really fukking good)
Jerky
Protein bars

Or bring a greek yogurt with in the morning. Wont kill you if you dont eat it till an hour or two into the day.

- Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds (so delicious)
- Hummus and carrots (if that isn't too messy where you work)
- Peanut butter sandwich
- Pre-made protein shake (I make a few at a time and freeze them. By the time I'm ready to drink it, it is nice and smoothie like)
- Fruit
- Half of a bagel

man i have a big ol box of nutri grain bars i just go ham on them, as well a jar of peanut butter, props to the dude on here who mentioned it, ish takes away my growling stomach easily.

various assortment of dehydrated veggie chips (dried Edamame are a fav right now)

nutrigrain bars arent all that great for you, i'd go with almost everything mentioned in here over them. way too much sugar, and not alot of protein or fibre
