Mine are higher but not crazy higher. But, you're saving money in so many other ways it doesn't matter.

I always wondered about that

Yeah you save money on Gas, Lunch, Commute Time, Work shoes, etc

But how is your Electricity, Water, Gas, Heating bills? :patrice:

I assume the prices are more if you're running your A/C or Heater more, cooking more, opening and closing the refrigerator, Wifi router on the whole day etc

Marginally more. Like $50 total. But more than offsets what I woulda spent on gas/coffee/lunches out.

You might see a slight increase in your heating or A/C bill but that is easily offset by the money you save on gas, dry cleaning, food and wear & tear on your car.

I'm interested to see how this plays out over the next few months because people do not want to go back into the office :mjlol:

My Pops Forever RIP
When I was WFH, luckily there was maybe one more kinda cold month before the weather got nicer, so instead of having lights on all day, just use the sun. The food I bought was from Target and I can cook more and heat up more stuff instead of spending more money than I need to on lunch. The money I saved came in handy when things started easing up.

I utilize sunlight. I don’t turn on my lights often except for night time.

That's another thing.

My old office didn't have Windows but I never turn on any lights during the day because I get a lot of sunlight in my house. Sometimes I get too much and it creates a glare on my computer screen

We probably used less electricity throughout the country because these big ass commercial buildings/offices aren't burning as much juice to keep the lights on.
