I don't know what the laws are. I do work in a kitchen though. Breh, don't do anyone's job but you're own. If you want to wash dishes, get paid for doing that, if you want to bus, bus, don't be too helpful in a kitchen.

Nobody wants to do all their work but they want to make all their money.

You're showing initiative and flexibility which is ideal, but kitchen politics are shady my G. If you're going to help anyone help the cooks and buyers because they'll help you, and you'll learn the two key positions in a kitchen making you worth more because you can make your business more money.

Don't confront anybody! That's not the move here G. Fall back son, be jiggy, and make power moves. That involves being aware of what your next move is.

Is this just a job, or are you interested in this field? You can make good money in it, but you gotta work smart and hard.

This is just a job for me.

But you need to go down to some city office (don't know which one) and file a complaint. First, you need to speak with the manager though. Maybe it's an innocent mistake and they need to be aware. Don't burn your bridges if you need the job. When I was a waitress we shared tips and I had to hand the bussers and bar tenders my cash, so maybe they're stiffing you.

If you don't want to do all that, trust, you can find a busser job yesterday. High turnover job and they always need them. Just find somewhere else to work if need be. Going through the city will take awhile and I gather you have bills. How are you supporting yourself on third world Apple wages?

Maybe you dwell under a bridge and collect tolls...

If you don't make more than minimum wage from tips your job should be paying you minimum wage to make up for it. You def. should be getting tips as a busser though. You work a corporate restaurant or mom and pops type?

All I read was the title. You should quit and start your own business.

Or at least quit his job and make threads about being woke and looking down upon the working class go getters whilst painting images of random objects as a form a faux artistic expression to mask an otherwise lazy, unmotivated, beta-male lifestyle.
I would reccomend the former though. Start by quitting and finding a better employer until he's in a position to provide for himself through his own business ventures if that's where his ambition takes him.

Then switch to dish because it pays more and you can get better paying jobs with experience as dish crew.

Man to man, you need a more detailed plan. I'm proud of you for taking the first step, which is getting your chips up. You're in the game now, play to win. Have direction.

View yourself as a business. We're broke so we trade our time, skills, and labor for money. Get the most money you can for your investment. That's good business.

Bussing is a good foot in the door, but there are other positions in your field that require less of an investment and yield a bigger return.

Position yourself to get one. Keep working out too. You won't always see the results but you will feel them. Don't forget to rest and eat veggies and nuts. Get some comfortable non slip boots too. I recommend Keen mesh boots. They're the best in the business.

You're better off sitting at home than slaving it up for massa cuz that's slavery. You can earn at least $50 a day in your bedroom doing email marketing.

Leave that job, and find something better. The slave job is just going to make you more depressed.

Should I go to work tomorrow and tell him I don't want to work there anymore or just not show up at all tomorrow?

In terms of what I want to do with my life it is still hazy. I feel that because of how prevalent IT is getting and jobs being automated in the future has left me depressed. I feel that I might have to get into IT.
