I never really wore undershirts but I've been thinking of starting

especially good for the summer so if you sweat it doesn't immediately soak the outer layer

If I'm wearing a short sleeve button up, then no. If I'm wearing a long sleeve button up, then yes. It's not like I'm sweating like a pig with AC on in the office and in the car.
