I like it. I'm a night owl. I just sleep as soon as I get home for 4 to 5 hours the sleep a couple hours before I go in.
I do the same thing. I keep the same schedule on my days off. Folks try to have a normal schedule on the weekends or force themselves to stay up that first day off, and come to work Sunday night looking like walkers from The Walking Dead.

I tried that shyt a couple jobs in my life, could not last in either job :dead::deadrose:. It takes a special kind of fortitude to be up at graveyard hours, be alert, be coherent, and functional

Not just that, its a mental thing. You are working while majority are asleep. You're days off are a battle between sleeping normal hours and being like "fukk it, imma be awake overnight during my off days :manny:"

Even trying to gameplan on when I would go to sleep before or after the shift used to have me stressed out :heh:

Any breh that works overnight shift, I gotta salute ya'll :salute:
Yea. Imagine 12 instead of 8hrs.

I’ll say this. If u can avoid it, u should. Did it for a number of years. Now I can’t sleep without the aid of pills. Benedryl, advil pm. Xanax is great for this but u can’t take it nightly. In fact, u shouldn’t be taking the others nightly either but one can only toss and turn for so long before saying fucck it. And no, melatonin doesn’t work for me.
Same. I've even tried extra strength melatonin and nothing.
