When I worked in the call center, there was a way to disconnect from callers without making it look intentional.
We could hit Alt-X, and the call would drop instantly....and management wouldn't even know about it.
If I get one of those "Susans" calling giving me a hard time, I'd play nice and act concerned.....then hang up mid-sentence.
"I do apologize for your inconvenience. I'm looking at your account and there seems to be discrepancy with your balan....*click*"
