To be honest, they deserve everything they get. They add that cheap ass resistive tablet that cant do any calculations itself, has terrible range, and doesnt have the appeal that todays popular tablets have. They knew the Wii motion controls were a fad, and, seeing this new tablet fad, tried to capitalize on that, but failed MISERABLY.
They rehash Mario after Mario after MARIO game...i mean damn we all love mario, but can we get something new?
Then dont let me get started on they online system and UI...they reserved 50 percent of the damn ram for system resources, yet when you want to message somebody while you are playing a game, you have to first press the home button and then wait around 30 seconds or so just for the miiverse to load..to message your friends..
So somebody tell me why the HELL the system is so much slower than PS360 desipite having 4 times the RAM on updated hardware??
THen theres the archaic transfer of games...and the fact that all the retro games are expensive...just L's all around.

2..) You are wrong about PS3. You are taking sony's word for it, while ignoring ever real fact like sony reports shipped. They shipped more and that isn't even true.
They stopped making PS2's in Jan.2013 but been counting PS2 & 3 systems as PS3 systems sold since 2009 I think it is.
Once again, sony counts systems shipped as sold. They "shipped PS2's all across the world until jan of 2013" so you tell me how many PS2's are in that equation? Supporedly PS3 is up by like 100,000 systems. You trying to say they only shipped 99,999 PS2 in 3/4yrs so the PS3 is still up by 1 system sold? If thats not the case, you tell me how many PS2 are counted in that equation. So once again, WRONG!

3.) You saying the PS3 would outsell the Xbox back in 2006 doesn't deserve props. Thats not a bold prediction since the PS2 just came off being the highest selling system of all time. You saying they will continue wasn't something not expected by the masses. What I saw and IS CORRECT STILL on deserves props. Which I already received over the years. Especially predicting a year later and the price right on the money So give up them good props or the bad Karma "could" lead to one of your systems dying mysteriously

the wii-u was nice in theory but it wasn't innovative or entertaining enough to upgrade from the wii. they should have just stuck with the wii and improved on it by making the tablet an accessory. as long as they keep mario, zelda and pokemon then hopefully they'll be ok.

the question is how long can they keep doing the same magic trick before people become disenchanted? in some respects it seems like we're finding the answer to that question now. Nintendo needs an Adult Swim to their Cartoon Network. they could create a new brand and have it on their system say Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong ect are Nintendo and the more adult themed games are Brand X or whatever. there are so many gamers that don't even pay attention to Nintendo or take them seriously because there's nothing there for them.

Whatever Nintendo wants to do with their system they're gonna have to lead the way on it. if they wanna attract more adult targeted content they're gonna have to start making it and drawing that audience in and only then will the third parties look and say ok there's reason to make games for that platform now.

at some point Nintendo needs to take a risk outside of launch a platform release a Mario game, release a Mario Kart game, release a Zelda game, release a Donkey Kong game release a Pokemon game. sure they took a risk with motion controls but that wasn't a risk that targeted a stable crowd of supportive gamers it was more like them doing a trendy novelty to appeal to people who don't even really play games like that. in the end those people's nature isn't to play video games so they went back to that.

You want gaming to be filled with first person shooters? Without innovation of any kind, the industry will crash. Wii U may be down, but it's far from out. Nintendo is the godfather of this gaming shyt, and you want them gone?

Tell me what was the last gaming innovation that nintendo came out with that effects how we play games today. If you say anything other than four controllers connecting to a system (n64) then you mistake gimmicks for innovation. The tablet and motion controls are not innovative they are gimmicks that have run their course. A new smash bros, mario kart, metroid, zelda, etc is not innovative either, they are rehashes no different from the fpss that get released year after year but thats what the people want from Nintendo at this point. Every person on this site that talks about wii u says the same shyt, "im not really playing my system but when (insert nintendo rehash) drops its going down. And the nerve of you to try to act like nikkas are only playing fps shooters out here if they arent fukking with Nintendo. my game list speaks for itself, I play a variety of shyt.

People keep saying Zelda, Smash, and Mario Kart will save the Wii U. The last 2 Zelda's have been mediocre to wack and Smash brothers had possibly the worst online system i have ever seen in a game. Online in Smash was so bad it was almost unplayable and even if you could get a connection worth a damn it was a job just adding people to play against. Mario Kart has thrown even the semblance of competitive balance completely out the window. Sonic Racing Transformed is a much better game and at this point ill only play another kart racer if its made by Sega.
