Wasn't a BCS back in 97 started in 98
I know the OSU/Miami game still has people salty, but even if Miami won that game...OSU still hung around with them. That OSU squad is NOT the worst.

Nah bruh....they beat a team that EVERYBODY outside of Columbus thought would get blown out of the stadium. They dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and even w/that PI call, they outplayed Miami that night.
They had a shytty offense, and a great D. They would've lost to the other BCS champs IMO.
Craig Krenzel might be the worse BCS title winning QB ever.

Ehh...LSU had average offenses in both 03 and 07, hell our Gator offense in 2006 was pretty trash too outside of the SEC title game and BCS championship game. That OSU team beat one of the most hyped teams in recent college football memory bruh
I'm just thankful there getting rid of the BCS....waiting 2 months for championship game

Depends on what you mean.
All of the major bowl games will be played on 12/31 and 1/1. Following that will be the championship games that first Monday of the year.
How does that differ other?

The BCS started in 1998. This should be obvious to you considering the fact that (as you pointed out) they split the championship and did not play each other.
