The defense got stops when they needed to. We held Oregon to 19 points after they dumped 50+ on just about everyone that season. That D-Line was nasty.

2004 team > 2010 team, team was more complete. Auburn didn't have that much talent on the team, Cam and Nick held that team from being another 8-5 team. Since 2010 ya'll ain't scored a offensive touchdown against us . Just wasn't that great of a team imo.

the only "better" thing was the defense. and thats a push to me because the 2010 defense defended arguably 30-40 more snaps per game than the 2004 defense.

The dynamics of how football is played has changed dramatically since then.

and fwiw 2007 LSU was a very dominant team. Did they luck in to the title game? Yes but they crushed OSU and generally everyone they played. It took miraculous plays by NFL talent at BOTH Arkansas and Kentucky to take them down in TRIPLE OVERTIME. Stop hating queers

Alabama in 2009 wasnt that good(almost lost to 2009 Auburn AND Tennessee), but Alabama in 2011 WAS good.
