I know we just had a thread on this, but the worst post-wwe burial is Vader. No one else comes close.

Vader was a legit star, a world champ in a widely televised American promotion known by everyone. And they treated like like a second rate big man.
He said on Austin's podcast he was too full of himself and didn't change his style to the wwe style :yeshrug: I guess they didn't want him going stiff and breaking noses and shyt

I think a lot of it had to do with Sid coming back. Sid connected with the WWF fans in a way Vader never did. Plus after the Summerslam flop, that big man slot was all Sid's. And at that time, Sid was over as fukk, anyone would have chosen HBK v. Sid over HBK v. Vader.

What about Jerry Lawler?

He was the man in Memphis, a multi time world champion, and he was one of the first wrestlers to get national media attention with the storyline he had with Kaufman.

In the E he's only had a handful of title shots, maybe main evented a handful of times, and was presented as a goof.

Literally had one match and hasn't been seen in 13 years except for a random TNA appearance and on Gigalos.

I wanna say RVD. He wasn't "buried" but he was held back for no real good reason. Dude came to the wwe as pretty much a complete act ready to be pushed immediately and somehow didn't get the belt until 2006. Kind of a head scratcher

Maybe it was because from day one Vince and crew knew he was in love with Mary Jane, and was afraid this might happen :manny:

On this date in WWE/ECW history: Rob Van Dam picks the worst time to get arrested - Cageside Seats

Too bad it didn't happen until right when they were finally ready to give him a shot :dead:
