-Jake Roberts leaving the WWF in 92 as a potential top guy going forward with Hogan soon to be out of the WWF for good, along with Macho Man winding down, and Warrior getting deavored for sticking Vince at Summerslam 92 because he didn't get Patterson's spot as a booker.

This... he was on his hottest run as a heel, this was right after the Macho feud.

And then he was supposed to get this huge amount of money for signing to WCW, but when he came to the office to sign the contract, Bill Watts had been hired. He said Watts held that contract up, said "you gotta be kiddin' me" and ripped it right in his face :russ:

Jake Roberts coming back in 96 with the "Born again Christian, AA attendee" gimmick. It was a golden ticket for Steve Austin but he came back beefing with Jerry Lawler. Who was gonna benefit from that.

DDP going back to WWF. Went from being a top star in WCW to a stalker/motivational speaker. I blame Vince & $hitty writers for that.

nah. this goes under best moves, right along with chris candido.

mr anderson >>> mr kennedy

from more success to better matches/feuds to being able to actually stay healthy.
man his name was all over the net back in the day and he's not even mentioned at all at this point....i wouldnt call that a good career move at all

respectfully, i cant tell if youre revising history or if youre speaking in kayfabe.

cuz it was obvious why they brought him back from the jump. painfully obvious.

and if they were seriously trying to look out for matt and gave him a platform, then why did they fire him in the first place? that doesnt even make sense breh.

wwe used the situation to get edge over. it was so blatant. and thats why they kept him with lita, cuz she was the one attracting the heat for him. and thats why they put him with vickie later on.

Matt Hardy was a mark instead of a businessman. A businessman would have taken Dixie's money and taunted Vince and Edge for years before going for a Mania payday.

you crazy.

bad move for sunny, sure.

but it was a great move for candido. he went to ecw and had a crazy run. and he joined the triple threat - one of the best stables ever. his wcw run was dope too.
why would you want him to go out as a trainer? especially after having that taebo gimmick. yuck.

i seriously doubt the sytch's drug problems started in ecw.

it was a bad move for candido because ecw was bush league and he needed time to heal his injury. he started to use steroids which caused him to have a heart attack once. by the time he left wwf they were starting to go with smaller wrestlers that can pass ped tests so he wouldn't of had to bulk up. paul heyman never payed him and no matter what it did for his image you still gotta get paid. he also developed a reputation for being a user and unreliable. his wcw run was short and had he'd not quit the wwe he could've gone back to wrestling once he was healthy. he should've gone to wcw instead of ecw if wwf had nothing for him. he would have got more tv time and been showcased on ppv. he never was going to be a star but he could've had a good career and made some dough. as for sunny, true she had problems before ecw but they just escalated once she got there. she aged really fast after her first year there and no longer looked like sunny. downhill hill after that and she never got paid unless she was blowing dudes for pills.

bret hart wasnt wasted in wcw. they booked him well. his ass just got exposed.

cosign that 2 cold scorpio

what happened with sabu tho? i remember him having a few matches, then he was back in ecw. his wcw record was probably undefeated on some kazarian chit.

yea frankie kazarian to the wwe,

he went undefeated on velocity but people in charge backstage didnt even know his name or some chit.

so he went back to TNA and they punished him for a couple years. he wouldve been a bigger TNA star if he stayed.

man his name was all over the net back in the day and he's not even mentioned at all at this point....i wouldnt call that a good career move at all

thats a moot point.

you think he wouldve still been big in wwe in 2016?

he couldnt even stay healthy in the wwe. in TNA he stayed healthy and had better matches.

even espn refers to mr anderson during highlights. not mr kennedy. and thats saying alot, seeing that kennedy was on a bigger platform than anderson.

ecw was bush league according to whom? their product was better than the wwf's.

you just said the wwf wanted him to be a trainer(just like his tag partner). what makes you think he wouldve got a big push if he stayed over there?

wcw was too crowded for candito in '97. he went over there at the right time in 2000.

if sunny had those problems, they wouldve escalated regardless of where she worked.

:dead: at someone saying Mr. Kennedy's best work was in TNA. His TNA run exposed how he needed a filter for promos and that he was below average in the ring. Heyman helped play to his strengths.

:ehh:
